8:45 - 9:15 am Roundtable Discussion - Coffee Chat! Let's visit about Planning! Bring your topics!
Session 1 9:15 - 10:30 am

Jennifer Sietsema- Black Hills Council of Local Govt will discuss Hazard Mitigation Plans with examples of how planners can help ensure we are meeting the new social injustice and climate change requirements.

Session 2 10:45-12:00 pm

Tia Berens - owner of Barns at Aspen Acres and Amber Vogt, Lawrence County  Planning & Zoning Director will have a discussion around the process of a CUP and the behind the scenes frustrations and operations of a business with a CUP within the County.

12:00-12:30 pm Eat Jimmy Johns Lunch
Session 3 12:30-1:30 pm Dana Foreman and Tim Hartmann from KLJ will present about the issues affecting the water supply [storage, drought, pumping, etc] and possible ordinance/policy framework for water restrictions. With an update from on the Western Dakota Regional Water System. 

1:30 - 2:00 pm Wrap Up & Roundtable discussion - take what you learned today talk about it or what else do you have going on! A little update on Airports and Zoning and Land Use Compatibility with Kent Penney with KLJ Engineering.
