As an Urban Planner with Interstate Engineering, you will work as a part of a team, completing comprehensive planning, zoning and subdivision documents, and other long-range planning activities. The planner role will include technical writing and public engagement supporting plan development. This position will also perform entry-level to intermediate professional-level current planning and zoning work, and collecting, organizing, analyzing, and evaluating data and applications about zoning, subdivision, and development review. As a planner, you may assist with building permit reviews and GIS mapping.
A Bachelor's degree in planning or a related field is required; three to five years experience in planning is preferred. Master's Degree preferred but not required. AICP is preferred but not required.
